Northwest Baptist Church of Miami, Oklahoma

Michael and Kim Knight came to our church in October of 2014 in an interim/transitional capacity upon their relocation to Joplin.  Michael became the full-time pastor two years later.  Kim enjoys volunteering at Freeman Hospital and at LifeChoices Health Network in Joplin along with substitute teaching at the College Heights Christian School.  They have four daughters and eleven grandchildren.  Michael and Kim are originally from Tulsa.  Both are graduates of Will Rogers High School there and Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee.  Kim is a retired kindergarten public school teacher.  Michael has over forty years of local church ministry experience having earned the Master of Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and the Master of Religious Education from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Kim's favorite verse is Deuteronomy 33:27a and Michael's is Colossians 2:6-7.
